Crowds gathered in Melbourne as the annual Space Coast Burger Battle returned with live entertainment, local vendors, and food competitions that transformed the event into a full-scale festival. Hosted by Battle Bros Events, the Burger Battle featured restaurants from across the Space Coast competing for attention while attendees sampled burgers throughout the day.
Although food remained the centerpiece of the event, live music played a major role in shaping the experience. Performances throughout the festival helped maintain the crowd’s energy as guests moved between vendor booths, outdoor seating areas, and the main stage.

One of the featured acts was FloriDUH, a Florida-based cover band known for incorporating rock, country, and Southern-inspired party music into its live performances. According to the band’s official website, FloriDUH describes itself as “Florida’s favorite party band,” performing throughout the state at festivals and large public events.
The addition of live music helped reinforce the scale of the Burger Battle beyond a traditional food competition. Families and festivalgoers gathered near the stage while others continued circulating between food vendors and sponsor tents. The combination of live performance and food culture reflected a growing trend among Florida festivals that increasingly combine entertainment with culinary events to attract larger crowds.

“Music keeps people engaged between the food and everything else happening around the venue,” one event volunteer said during the event.
According to Battle Bros Events, the event regularly features food vendors, competitions, and live entertainment as part of its annual programming.
As the day continued, the blend of live music, food, and large crowds demonstrated how the Space Coast Burger Battle has evolved into a broader community event centered around both entertainment and local culture.
The event began at 12pm and ended at 9pm, with no signs of lulls in the momentum. Each year the event grows in scale and this year was no exception.
